Building Blocks
 a potentially re-useable component
زي application بنستخدمه مثلا للـOrder entery system وده جزء من مجموعة applications في الenterprise فكل واحد من الapplications ده بنسميه BB أو Solution BB

Enterprise Continuum 
• How the generic solutions can be leveraged (usefull) for your organization 
• Is a view of the architecture repository 
• Most generic on the left to most specific on the right 

طريقة عرض الarchitecture repository بحيث تكون الarch. الmore generic أقصى اليسار، والarch. الـmore specific أقصى اليمين وتتدرج باقي الarchitects بينهم، وده من خلال تصنيف الarch. كالآتي:
• Foundation architecture  (very general)
• Common systems architecture (common archs., i.e general design patterns)
• Industry architecture (field specific arch. like banking arch.)
• Organization-specific architecture (very specific)

كل ما يخص الacrh وكل المخرجات من كل المراحل والbuilding blocks

• Standards Information Base 
الstandards الخارجية اللي نستخدمها كلها يتم حفظها تحت مسمىSIB

كل المراجع الخارجية عن الcommon systems اللي بنطبقها

• Governance Log 
كل القرارات التي تم اتخاذها سواء بالموافقة أو بالرفض وتوثيق جميع التفاصيل عنها وحفظها تحت مسمى الGL

هل يوجد شخص اومجموعة شغالة دوام كامل في هذه المهمة أم لا، هل يوجد بورد أو مجلس إدارة يتحكم في القرارات الخاصة بالArch. وهل هم بيتبعو الprocesses المتوافقة مع الtogaf وده كلها أسئلة ممكن نقيم نفسنا فيها من واحد إلى عشرة عشان نعرف احنا فين من تطبيق الArch.

Capabilities as the Focus of Enterprise Architecture Business:
capabilities are a combination of business processes, people (organization, knowledge and skills, culture), technology solutions, and assets (facilities, funds, etc.) aligned by strategic performance objectives.

Capabilities, in this approach, are the building blocks of the enterprise. They have relationships to each other and to the environment, and we need to pay attention to these interfaces, and to be clear on what responsibilities are being assigned to a capability. Together, people, process, technology and performance management yield a capability that has quality characteristics. These quality characteristics are important in driving the capability design process, just as in any other kind of architecture.

Percentiles, Deciles, and Quartiles

Percentiles Percentile: the value below which a percentage of data falls. Example: You are the fourth tallest person in a group of 20 80% of people are shorter than you: That means you are at the  80th percentile . If your height is 1.85m then "1.85m" is the 80th percentile height in that group. In Order Have the data  in order , so you know which values are above and below. To calculate percentiles of height: have the data in height order (sorted by height). To calculate percentiles of age: have the data in age order. And so on. Grouped Data When the data is grouped: Add up all percentages  below  the score, plus  half  the percentage  at  the score. Example: You Score a B! In the test 12% got D, 50% got C, 30% got B and 8% got A You got a B, so add up all the 12% that got D, all the 50% that got C, half of the 30% that got B, for a total percentile of 12% + 50% + 15% =  77% In other words you did "as well or better than
